What is a camp counselor?
As a camp counselor you will have the responsibility for a group of kids – sometimes together with another counselor or a juniorcounselor (a counselor under 18). Your responsibility will be to make sure they get up in the morning, they get their meals every day, that they participate in the planned activities etc. Also you will help out at different activities, e.g. sports, music, excursions and a lot of other things.As a counselor it is an advantage, but not a requirement that you have experience working with kids, e.g. from a sports club, being a scout leader, studying to be a teacher etc. But the most important things is that you want to work with kids.
